Drain is one of those rough, raw, and sludgy black metal type of recordings that we had to sit upfront in the album. It tells a story of a guy named "Thorn" getting so stuck in his head betrayed by his dreams and the demons that sink within. Although his sister is there to hold his hand throughout the whole mental hell but he still feels alone and useless to the world. "Drain, drain, drain, take me away." Though it is entirely false and he has a lot of potential and light awaiting for him at the end of the tunnel.
